How long your order takes — and the numbers behind the promise
Every barn light is made to order in our Carrum Downs workshop, then sent Australia-wide with Australia Post. Here's exactly what to expect, backed by our real delivery data — not a guess.
1. Handling — while your light is being made
Because each shade is hand-spun and powder-coated to your chosen finish, there's a build stage before anything ships. Most orders are dispatched within 7–14 business days. Larger custom or multi-fixture orders can run a little longer — if yours does, we'll be in touch.
2. Transit — once it's on the road
After dispatch, delivery time depends on where you are. These windows are drawn from our actual Australia Post delivery scans:

We'd rather show you than tell you. Every figure below comes from 189 parcels we shipped between April and July 2026, measured from dispatch to the Australia Post delivered scan.
On-time performance
Measured against Australia Post's own delivery estimate for each parcel. Our quoted windows above are deliberately more conservative — so against our promise, the great majority land on time or early.

Our lights aren't pulled off a shelf — each one is spun, assembled and powder-coated to the finish you choose. That's the 7–14 business day handling stage, and it's why no two orders look quite the same.
Can I get it faster?
