Every shade in this edit is hand-spun from a flat disc of marine-grade aluminium over a steel former, then powdercoat-sealed in your choice of 50+ Dulux and Colorbond finishes. Aluminium won't corrode in coastal salt or humidity the way steel does — so a caged, IP55-rated Barn Light is a fit-and-forget fixture on even the most exposed beachside wall. Our coastal and nautical edit gathers the caged, jelly-jar and bunker fixtures built to survive the Australian coast. Inspired by classic maritime and lighthouse-keeper lighting, each one pairs a hand-spun aluminium shade with a die-cast or wire nautical guard, carries an IP55 coastal rating as standard, and is powdercoated to order in weathered coastal tones — Colorbond Surfmist and Monument, galvanised, and clean coastal whites — through to a hard Black Ace contrast.
Because every shade is spun from aluminium rather than pressed from steel, it won't corrode in salt air or humidity — so these fixtures suit beach houses, jetties, undercover decks, bathrooms and laundries alike. All take a standard E27 globe, are fully dimmable, and ship made to order with free freight over $600 and a three-year warranty.
