The G15 Gooseneck Arm is manufactured by Barn Light Australia 25mm x 3mm Wall Thickness Structural Aluminium (6060-T5 / 6060-T591) sourced from local Australian suppliers. Using our pipe-threader we create a clean thread that will be used to affix our hex-coupler base or atomic cap to hold the lighting fixture and more importantly, keep our electrical wiring safe and secure from the elements.
Pipe bending is completed using in-house staff operating our hydraulic pipe bender designed with three different shoe sizes (formers) that create bends in either 15cm, 20cm or 30cm diameters, some products use more than one shoe and custom goosenecks are possible to create with a little engineering help by our staff. The G15 Gooseneck Arm is supplied with a 25mm Wall Backing Plate and Fixing Hardware to install onto your mounting surface. We include an aptly named “Adaptor Bracket” that permits you to mount our lighting onto any surface (concrete, timber, brick etc). Screws are coated in the same finish as ordered.
Every shade is hand-spun in our Carrum Downs workshop — shaped on a lathe, not pressed in a die. We work in aluminium for three reasons:

Our ability as a manufacturer is to supply you with options, far exceeding your local lighting store. Have you purchased a wall light, and would have loved it to be a pendant instead, or decided it was too big on first impressions and needed to downsize? We can offer you this service, and a touch more. We offer no charge to down-size the shade, however charge the cost of the difference (ie $20) plus freight incurred by us as a courtesy. Every part here is made or finished in our Carrum Downs workshop — tube bent on our own hydraulic bender, plates and fittings cast or machined, then powdercoated in the same booth as the light they hold. Aluminium wherever it can be, steel where the job needs it. Powdercoat seals the metal so the fixing stays sound outdoors, and because everything is finished to order you can match your fitting exactly or contrast it on purpose.
Arms, backing plates, canopies, guards and glass are all made in the same workshop to the same mounting standard — 25 mm across most of the range, 20 mm for the petite arms and wall lights. Check which one your fitting uses before you order.
