“Made in the USA” – Where we sell shades spun from molds we don’t have, we purchase from Barn Light Electric (USA). Shades are hand-spun and manufactured by employees of Barn Light Electric. As always, the quality of materials is unmatched so you can rest assured you are buying a high quality product every-time. If you do not see the “Australia Made” logo along side the product description, the ENTIRE RAW fixture will be of US origin, to which we complete the manufacturing in-house.
Products marked “Australian Made”, yet tagged “Barn Light USA” fulfill the requirements of the Australian Made License (Barn Light Australia is a licencee) for “Australian Made” and “Product of Australia”. A percentage based calculation is taken into account (including currency conversion) to ensure the Australian manufacturing components is, at a minimum of 70% Australian Made. All processing occurs in-house or via Australian vendors/suppliers of the material preparation, finishing, construction, assembly, and packaging on Australian soil. The manufacturing of the completed lighting product is likely a 80%/20% (AUS/USA) split. We don’t always have the mold or facilities to produce a comparable item so we import the highest quality from our business partners.
