The Austin is available in two distinct sizes to suit your specific design goals:
The 25cm Austin (The Hamptons Favourite): Petite and minimalist. This size is exceptionally popular in modern Hamptons-style homes, where its clean lines offer a soft, elegant touch over study nooks or smaller vanity areas.
The 30cm Austin (The All-Rounder): Our most versatile size. The 30cm shade offers a wider light dispersal, making it the “gold standard” for outdoor areas and larger interior spaces. It is particularly striking in a Galvanised finish, perfectly capturing a sophisticated farmhouse or coastal vibe.

The IP55 Weatherproof Upgrade: For maximum durability in harsh environments, select the IP55 Upgrade. This option includes the specialized cast assembly and protective glass required to shield your fixture from high-pressure water and dust.
Every shade is hand-spun in our Carrum Downs workshop — shaped on a lathe, not pressed in a die. We work in aluminium for three reasons:

Our ability as a manufacturer is to supply you with options, far exceeding your local lighting store. Have you purchased a wall light, and would have loved it to be a pendant instead, or decided it was too big on first impressions and needed to downsize? We can offer you this service, and a touch more. We offer no charge to down-size the shade, however charge the cost of the difference (ie $20) plus freight incurred by us as a courtesy. “The Original” is the shade that started it all: a hand-spun RLM warehouse dome born for 1920s factory ceilings. Mounted flush or semi-flush, it tucks the same honest shape against the ceiling for porches, hallways and low rooms. We spin the aluminium, powdercoat it and wire the die-cast ceiling canopy to order in Melbourne — no cheap copy, the real thing.
