The Beacon
One die-cast guard, four ways to run it. The Beacon — formerly the Atomic, renamed so nobody confuses it with the bargain bunker lights it merely resembles — descends from Space Race-era vapour-proof caged fittings. Run the guard bare as the Industrial, add the flared disk, top it with a Warehouse shade, or double up with the Dual. Every build is IP55 as standard, die-cast and hand-spun aluminium from our Carrum Downs workshop, and equally at home in bathrooms, on verandahs, and in salt air.

The bare unit the whole family is built around: die-cast guard, thick tempered glass, no shade, and a 360-degree glow — the high-end ‘bunker’ look without the bulk. Choose the Standard cast guard [CGG] for the most light, the heavy-duty Thick guard [TGG] for football-proof duty, or the nautical Wire guard [WGG] for vintage flair. E27 lampholder, 60W max, dimmable with an LED dimmer.

The same guard unit wearing a hand-spun flared disk. The flare catches light that would otherwise escape sideways and turns it toward the floor — a wider field of light from a slim, low-profile fixture. It’s the nautical-chic pick for lining a Queenslander verandah or coastal patio, and it earns its keep in hallways and bathrooms too. 20cm across.

The largest of the family — a vintage warehouse shade over the signature cast guard, industrial meets warehouse in a single fixture. The shade throws the light downward and glare-free, which makes it the working choice for storefronts, garages, porches and grand entryways. At 26cm it reads as a proper barn light, with the caged, vapour-proof build still underneath.
