    Lexicon® Quarter has a cool, fresh, modern appearance, particularly when applied to walls and trims. This finish will provide a seamless up-to-date style to your home, extending that look, feel, and style using a Barn Light ;). Powdercoat is a different product to paint, not all powdercoats look like paints, and the variance in satins, gloss levels, and matte level vary dramatically.

    WS975-Galvanised Appendum

    WS975-Galvanised is a premium, hand-painted finish manufactured from quality fine metallic paints and Acrylic Etch Primers designed to age with the building and surrounds.
    You'll be probably asking yourself, "Is it Steel?". The answer is NO, it is not. Its hand-dabbed automotive quality paint formula, sprayed by our employees.

    1. This paint/finish is expensive - 8Ltrs of this formula costs $800.
    2. We haven't changed paint formulation since 2014, (Changed in March 2026) and we've got this old finish installed at Seaworld (yes, that one) for the past 15 years.
    3. We don't keep stock - All parts needs to be batched. The pattern changes subtly based on the operator.
    4. Lead-times vary a touch more than usual due to the labour required to achieve this finish.

    By checking this box, you acknowledge that Warranties were limited to two-years from the date of purchase for this finish, as aging is a desired effect.
    Orders placed after March 2026 will receive a 3-Year Warranty in line with our existing Warranties.

The Wesco Chain Hung Pendant builds upon the character of traditional deep bowl pendant lights – Designed to provide a deep and directed light upon counters back in the 1900’s, Our Wesco has evolved to be a popular design application, highlighting certain points of interests around retail stores. You’ll find both the Wesco Deep Bowl Shades among top fashion stores providing a ‘call-to-purchase’ whatever lays beneath these deep bowl warehouse shades.

About the Deep Bowl Design

The Wesco Chain Hung Pendant features a minimalist deep bowl design that doesn’t sacrifice on glam. Featuring a contemporary/industrial inspired light offers a long lasting rustic chic which will blend effortlessly into homes and offices built in all styles from country style farmhouses to ultra modern apartments. High quality materials are chosen exclusively by our engineers for their superior hallmarks — such as strength, durability, as well, being Australian Made never hurt anyone. We’ve combined our trademark straight neck that mellows into a well rounded bell shaped dome. There isn’t much more to take away from this warehouse lighting design!

Which one would you buy?

The 40cm Wesco Chain Hung Pendant is a funky, raw industrial lamp with excellent outdoor weathering. Surprise your colleagues or customers with this functional statement light which can be placed anywhere and provide sufficient illumination for reading, cooking, or simply creating your space. If your area needs prominence but also walk-through space, the use of our quick-links provides an instant height change at the heat of the moment, or just before the party gets started!

Our 25cm Wesco is best described as “Task Lighting” – The deep bowl is going to push all the light down its deep neck onto your desk, workspace, or over that tabletop that otherwise misses out. If you could imagine the style of lamps used to highlight drawing boards back in the 1900’s, you’d likely see smaller version of our Wesco highlighting the plans of buildings we still walk through today.

Can I use the Wesco Outdoors?

This pendant has an outdoor rated chain suspension and brings timeless charm to your home with its deep-bowl shape. The Wesco is great for indoor use and excellent for outdoor usage, rated IP44 (IP55 with Atomic Unit!) which means it’s safe for water or rain exposure too! With the lamp holder recessed deep within the neck of the Wesco, it ensures you can brighten up any intimate space with mellowed lighting.

Love the Wesco but need a different mounting solution. What’s the difference???

Our Wesco Chain Hung Pendants are comprised of classic warehouse style with a deep-bowl lighting dispersal. As an alternative, our 43cm Old Dixie Chain Hung Pendant is designed for a “shallow bowl” style, for example areas requiring a more dispersed lighting plan such as Kitchen Islands with short ceilings.

We sell many more 40cm Wesco’s than 25cm strictly due to the massive size different, a majority of our 25cm Wesco’s are sold with Gooseneck Arms (or Straight arms!) – Check out The Wesco Gooseneck Barn Light for ideas on what you can achieve with a small light, in a small space. Don’t have the ability to install a Wesco Chain Hung Pendant over your kitchen sink, The Wesco Stem Pendant with rigid stem pendant is ideal or The Wesco Barn Pendant might be better suited to the task if you’ve got shorter ceilings?

Our Warranties

As an Industrial Lighting Manufacturer, we’re certain our products will exceed warranties published. We have some understandable exclusions however expect the best from our lighting products and you should too.

Three (3) years from the date of purchase; where the,

  • Lighting utilised in a residential setting (House / Home / Unit).
  • Lighting installed in the correct Location Rating as certified.
  • Lighting powder-coated in Dulux Electro Powder Coat or “Coastal Colours” as defined

Two (2) years from the date of purchase; where,

  • Where Lighting is used in a commercial settings (Restaurant / Public Space / High-Traffic).
  • Any component of the Good is powder-coated in anything but Dulux Electro powder coat or WS975-GalvanisedDesigned to age.
  • Where any item of the product is situated within 200m from a coastal environment (excluding Coastal Rated Powdercoats).

We offer a 5-Year Warranty for customers opting into our “Photo Review” program. For information on how to apply for this program, please contact us.

Swapping Products & Components

Our ability as a manufacturer is to supply you with options, far exceeding your local lighting store. Have you purchased a wall light, and would have loved it to be a pendant instead, or decided it was too big on first impressions and needed to downsize? We can offer you this service, and a touch more. We offer no charge to down-size the shade, however charge the cost of the difference (ie $20) plus freight incurred by us as a courtesy. Hardware, components and similar products are charged as a proverbial (and nominal) cost. Need to know more? Contact us!

Barn Light provides a generous 90-day refund or 180 day exchange for change of mind purchase. Over 90-days and within 180-Days, we offer a credit for the same value.

The same hand-spun shade and cast fittings, dropped from a powdercoated 4.8 mm steel chain with the cable threaded discreetly through the links. Choose your drop length and chain finish — black zinc, white zinc, or paint-to-match. IP44 outdoor rated as standard, with a Beacon caged + jelly-jar IP55 upgrade for exposed and coastal positions. We spin the aluminium, powdercoat it and wire it to order in Melbourne.
